The fragrant series is a passionate story of gentle dreamers and a story of people who were searching for a special fragrance. To catch a fragrance, like others would catch a butterflies with a net. Diptyque actually wanted to catch the fragrance of their first boutique with rare and precious perfumes, to show everyone a small part of this place and its history.

Each of the products belong to an exceptional and fine collection, which each of the three friends and founders of Diptyque, Christiane Gautrot, Desmond Knox-Leet, Yves Coueslant, dreamt of in 1961. The famous oval shaped label with an inscription in ink by Desmond Knox-Leet is ever present. It can be found on the packaging and on the matt white label of the room sprays. The oval label is a model for the shape of the Eau de Toilette-glass bottle, the shape of the rich soap and the cream-colored candle jar.
