The organizer of this contest is PWV Online GmbH | Aus Liebe zum Duft.

§ 1 – Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contests hosted by PWV Online GmbH | Aus Liebe zum Duft via our website, our blog, or our social media channels (such as Instagram and Facebook). In the event of any conflicts, the specific contest terms and conditions published in the respective contest description shall take precedence over these general terms and conditions.

§ 2 – General Terms and Conditions

Participation in the contest is free of charge and not tied to the purchase of any goods or services.
Eligible to participate are individuals who are at least 18 years of age and reside in Germany or Austria, unless otherwise specified in the respective contest description. We reserve the right to subsequently exclude participants who do not have a residence or shipping address in the aforementioned countries.

§ 3 – Contest Duration

The duration of the contest—including start and end dates and times—is determined by the specific details provided in the respective contest description. In special cases, we reserve the right to change the contest terms and conditions even during the contest period or to terminate the contest early.

§ 4 – Prizes

All participants who meet the general terms and conditions of participation as well as the requirements specified in the respective contest description will be entered into the drawing for the stated prizes.

§ 5 – Drawing, Prize Notification, and Shipping

The drawing will take place after the contest ends. Winners are generally notified directly via the respective platform channel (e.g., via direct message/DM on Instagram) or by email.
Winners’ names will not be publicly announced unless the winner has expressly consented to this on a case-by-case basis.
If the prize is digital (e.g., a shopping voucher), it will be sent via email. For physical prizes, winners will not incur any shipping costs. Please note that when redeeming a gift card in the online store at a later date, standard shipping fees may apply in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, unless the minimum order value required for free shipping is met.
If we do not receive a response from the winner within 14 days of sending the prize notification, the claim to the prize expires and a new winner will be selected.

§ 6 – Liability

If the contest requires interaction from participants (such as leaving a comment or submitting a photograph), AUS LIEBE ZUM DUFT assumes no liability for the content of these submissions. It is strictly prohibited to publish content that is illegal, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, vulgar, glorifies violence, is pornographic, or harmful to minors.

§ 7 – Rights of Use

Each participant agrees that their submitted entry (text or image) may be used for the conduct of the contest as well as for related communications on AUS LIEBE ZUM DUFT’s channels, provided that such interaction is specified in the contest rules.

§ 8 – Data Protection

We process your personal data (e.g., Instagram profile name, email address) exclusively for the proper conduct and administration of the contest (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

For digital prizes (such as gift cards), only your email address is collected for processing purposes. For physical prizes, we additionally collect your mailing address for shipping and forward it to the contracted shipping company. Your data will not be disclosed to third parties beyond this.

After the contest has ended and all processing has been completed (no later than three months after the contest ends), your personal data processed in connection with the contest will be deleted, provided that no statutory retention periods preclude this or you have expressly consented to further use (e.g., for sending newsletters).

Applicable data protection law grants you the following data subject rights, provided the respective legal requirements are met:
