A tribute to Marie Antoinette
To mark its 380th anniversary, Trudon delves into the opulent French history of the 18th century and launches a new collection called Les Tuileries, the residence of French kings and emperors and Marie Antoinette's last home until the French Revolution.
The new fragrance was inspired by the life and loves of the last queen of France – an extraordinary tribute to Marie Antoinette.
Les Tuileries
The colour scheme of the collection has its origins in a rare document kept in the French National Archives. A countess and lady-in-waiting to Marie Antoinette collected numerous fabric samples over many years, which were used for the queen's magnificent gowns. Delicate rose and pastel shades serve as a template and inspiration for Les Tuileries. The lovely rose scent of the new collection symbolises Marie Antoinette's admiration and love for the queen of flowers.
