The intuition of an artist's soul
Annick Goutal was not destined to become a perfumer. First a child prodigy pianist, then a model, she stumbled upon the world of perfume by chance … and discovered an olfactory revelation. It was in Grasse, the cradle of perfumery, that she learned the art of raw materials, guided by her instinct. A calling was born: to compose perfumes as one composes music, with emotion and sincerity.

Creating fragrances is like sharing memories
In 1981, she founded her own house, one that reflected her vision—the first to create niche perfumes. Guided by emotion, she brought a new vision to perfumery: one of pleasure, sharing, and passing on traditions.  Each creation becomes a memory to give, a moment in life to relive, a fragment of a personal story: a summer read, a passionate love affair, a childhood in Provence.

In this free-spirited and daring house, she infuses her sensibility, her love of natural essences, and above all, total creative freedom. Bucking trends, Annick Goutal established an elegant and sincere signature perfumery, where emotion becomes poetry and where each fragrance becomes a bond between souls.

Annick Goutal passed away in 1999, leaving behind an unforgettable poetic legacy. Her free-spirited and visionary approach continues to inspire her daughter Camille, now a perfumer who is forging her own creative path. Today, Annick Goutal Paris celebrates life’s moments with fragrances imbued with soul and memory, like an intimate dialogue between the past, the present … and the skin.
