At its heart, Racyne is an invitation to perceive more, to feel more. Racyne is a variation on racine, the French word for root. The name also evokes the playwright Jean Racine and Romain Gary’s novel Les Racines du ciel.

The name pays homage to the power of scent: its ability to anchor us in our bodies, to ground us in the present, to evoke memories and to reconnect us with what truly matters: our skin, the world around us and what we feel.

Founded in Paris in November 2023, Racyne is a contemporary perfume house dedicated to the emotional power of scent. Each creation explores a more sensual and conscious way of wearing fragrance, conceived as a personal ritual and a moment of connection with oneself and the world. In a world of speed and constant sensory overload, wearing fragrance becomes a sensory respite — a personal act, rooted in the present moment.
