Entirely concentrated at 25% fragrance oil, it combines richness with clarity and presence. Released as part of the 21st anniversary of Tauer Perfumes, the bottle label shows the number 21.
Inspiration and a word from the perfumer
I have always loved the presence of hyacinth, not as something decorative or simply spring-like, but as something vivid, green, elegant, and full of character. It carries light, but it also carries shape. That tension has stayed with me for a long time.
With L’Air du Jardin Caché, I wanted to work from that love of hyacinth and from my equal love of classical perfumery. I wanted the perfume to feel rooted in the great tradition of classical French artistic perfume, with richness, proportion, and beauty, yet not become trapped by the old limits of the genre.
The aim was to create something genuinely new: a floral perfume with refinement and tradition behind it, but with a freer, more vivid movement and a more open, modern sense of air. Something classical in spirit, but not retrospective. Something that keeps its elegance while breaking the usual limits of what a floral perfume is expected to be.
