Inspired by the quiet vastness of the southern sky – clear light, drifting clouds, and the feeling of looking upward to shift perspective. Azuris began with a fascination for pear as a fragrance material. Together with perfumer Michael Nordstrand, the intention was to move pear away from familiar sweetness and explore a brighter, more transparent expression. Iris became its natural counterpart: soft, vegetal, pale and diffusive. The fragrance was imagined in blue and white – not as colour coding, but as a feeling of openness, air and distance.
Green mandarin, sea salt and ginger give Azuris its bright, spicy lift. Pear and angelica seed bring a clear, subtly floral fruitiness, shaped by the green, woody character of grey myrtle. Basil and Mediterranean cypress carry the fresh, aromatic character into dry woods and musk.
