From Balcony to Boudoir – DIPTYQUE's Indoor & Outdoor Candles
The unique and elegant vessels of DIPTYQUE scented candles are a sign of luxurious craftsmanship and represent true handmade masterpieces. For the production of the clay vessels for the Indoor & Outdoor Candles, DIPTYQUE has teamed up with the French porcelain artists from Virebent, who have been famous for their exquisite work since 1924. DIPTYQUE scented candles contain first-class waxes, expertly blended to achieve the perfect effect.
DIPTYQUE's fragrance repertoire is an ode to nature and exquisite ingredients. Seemingly simple, they are all in truth a refined reinvention of nature. Each fragrance expresses a moment, an extraordinary place: a summer field in Provence, a cozy evening at home with the family, a garden covered in morning dew in full bloom.
DIPTYQUE's luxury scented candles are handcrafted in 12 individual steps. Each candle receives its own composition of wax and wick to ensure a consistent scent throughout the entire burning time.
Application
When lighting for the first time, make sure to let the candle burn until a uniform layer of liquid wax has formed (approx. 4 hours depending on the fragrance). This prevents tunneling of the wax and allows the wick to absorb the wax properly, ensuring an even burn. Wicks may produce a small amount of smoke when first lit.
Before relighting your candle, trim the wick with a wick trimmer (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to avoid fire hazards.
Stop using your candle once only 5 mm of wax remain or the metal wick base becomes visible.
Always light all five wicks together to ensure the candle burns down evenly.
Burn time approx. 120 hours
