Here are some tips to optimize its lifespan and enjoy it safely:
When lighting the candle for the first time, let it burn until an even layer of liquid wax has formed (approx. 4 hours, depending on the scent). This prevents tunneling in the wax and allows the wicks to properly absorb the wax, ensuring an even burn. Upon initial lighting, the wicks may produce a small amount of smoke.
After the first lighting, do not let the candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Do not move a burning or still hot candle.
Keep it away from drafts.
Maintain at least 10 cm distance between two candles.
Trim the wick with a wick trimmer before relighting your candle (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to prevent fire hazards.
