Estérel from the Les Belles Matières Collection captures the wild mimosa blossoms and elegant gardens of the Côte d'Azur. The symphony of unique candles in Trudon's Les Belles Matières unfolds in pure and ethereal form. A plant-based composition, the delicate perfumes orchestrate woody, floral and fruity scents: Reggio is enhanced with mandarin from Calabria; Tadine flirts with sandalwood from New Caledonia, while Madurai blossoms with Indian jasmine.
In a geographical odyssey, the collection travels back to the origins of rare perfumes: it explores the precious moments of botanical discoveries and reveals the birth of great fragrance adventures.
Mimosa was imported from Australia by British botanists at the turn of the 19th century and has since become the flower of the Côte d'Azur. The sunny bushes first bloomed in the opulent gardens of wealthy English families who spent their winters in Nice, before blossoming on the slopes of the Esterel, a Mediterranean coastal mountain range. In its wild form, its scent is like its bushy flowers: lively and delicate.
